WikiCards: the Wikipedia card game
WikiCards is the Wikipedia card game. Every card is a real Wikipedia article. Open packs, pull the subjects the whole world reads about, build a deck and win 10-second trivia duels.
- Rarity from real readers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary, computed from a year of real Wikipedia page views. The odds of every rarity are shown in the game.
- 3,000 cards in the core set, each one a short excerpt of a real article with its picture.
- Trivia duels: six cards against six, one question about the enemy card (the right description, the missing year or the missing word), 10 seconds to answer. The faster you answer, the harder you hit.
- Respect for the sources: CC BY-SA text with a link to the article, free Wikimedia Commons images with their credit.
- Free, no ads, no account needed.
Play it right here in your browser, or get the Android app on Google Play (the iPhone version is in review at Apple). Official site: playwikicards.com. Press kit: playwikicards.com/press.
